What you learn:: Clinical Research Outline, drug development process, clinical trial phases. Required documents list, protocol and Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP), Data collection process and Database, role and responsibilities of SAS and SAS programmers in Clinical Research. Regulatory submissions – Integrated summaries (ISS/ ISE) for IND/ NDA/ BLAs. Medical dictionary, QC and Validation.
Base SAS Programming: Includes base SAS certification, and all required SAS statements, procedures in pharmaceutical companies and need of data step programming.
SAS Macros: create and use macro variables. How to on writing a macro and pass a parameter in a macro and recall a macro. SQL concepts on to connect to database, uses and advantages of SQL.Writing SQL queries.
SAS Reports: Generating SAS reports, tables and listing for IND/NDA submissions as per FDA, ICH and CDISC submission standards.

Required Education:: Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biostatistics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, MPH, Medicine, Nursing, and any Life Sciences degree. |
